Bill Zimmerman's Weekly Tip - Do You Know My Name?

Good Morning, Idaho Realtors!

I know that's weird question. You probably know my name. But, do you know the names of your most important clients? What's in a name, anyway?

Well, we all have personal experience with how important our own names are to us. Think back on those in your life (outside of your family) who've had the most profound effect on you, who you admire the most. In almost every case, one of the main reasons a relationship began in the first place with that person is that they took the time to get to know you - starting with your name.

For me, remembering names and a few personal details about my clients is a difficult thing. But, I'm working on it. I hope you are, too! Of course, contact management software helps! (if you don't use ACT or Goldmine, or an industry-specific relationship-building program I HIGHLY recommend it.)

Remember, this is a relationship business, like it or not, and all good relationships start with the basics - our names.
